Inner Orc 1.2.0: Mounts, Chromas, and Weapon Auras
Available now: Inner Orc 1.2.0 is live on the App Store for Apple Watch.
Inner Orc 1.2 is the biggest update yet. Your orc can finally look the part.
New
Mounts
- From level 4, ride a mount on the quest road instead of walking.
- Track down Beast Tracks with the new daily Mount Search quest to tame one for your class.
- Riding cuts quest energy costs by 10%.
- Epic Mounts: at level 6, upgrade to an Epic mount for a 15% quest discount. The Druid gets an Epic Bird Form.
Chromas
- Recolor your orc in Crimson, Frost, Gilded, Shadow or Royal.
- Spend War Paint, found on Raid, Infiltrate, Subjugate and Shard Hunt.
- Note: Once unlocked with War Paint, a chroma is available to all classes at all levels.
Weapon Auras
- Fire, Ice, Shadow, Poison and Blessed particles trail your weapon through every swing.
- Note: Weapon Auras can only be unlocked by level 6 orcs. Once unlocked, an aura is available to all classes at all levels.
- Level-6 orcs earn Wildcore Shards from the new Shard Hunt quest.
Hall of Heroes
- Browse your retired orcs, drawn in the chroma and aura they wore.
Perfect runs
- A repair with no misses restores gear to 120%.
- A flawless Cooking or Alchemy run always makes one extra.
Improved
- Quest kickoff has been made more informative for users: tap a quest for details, pick your potions there and press Engage.
- Rare gear from Pillage, Plunder and Ransack gets 3% more likely with every miss, until it drops.
- Broken rare gear goes to your inventory so you can repair it. It is no longer destroyed.
- Class selection is easier to read: each class shows a short tagline, with a details screen before you commit.
- Status is easier to read: cosmetics have their own Style screen, consumables have their own screen, and text is larger.
- Pet Treats now cook in batches of 3.
- The app opens faster on the watch. Health data now syncs in the background.
Monk
- Updated the Monk's combat animations to make level-to-level progression more interesting.
Fixed
- The watch face complication could get stuck on “Claim!”.
- Result cards no longer overflow on smaller watches.
- The home-screen camp no longer covers your orc.
